DPPLogic helps a product team collect, source and review the product data and supplier evidence each product needs for its Digital Product Passport, and export a reviewed dataset for its passport provider or customer, with a record of who decided what. The readiness assessment is deterministic, and the workspace does not use runtime AI on your data: values, evidence references and review decisions are entered and made by people.
What DPPLogic does today
The DPPLogic workspace is available on Free, Professional and Business plans. Every plan includes the core preparation workflow. Professional and Business add team, bulk and governance tools; Business has the same tools as Professional and holds more products, team seats, product families and suppliers.
On Free, products and values are entered one at a time. Professional and Business can also import a product catalogue from a CSV file and a supplier’s filled response sheet; imported answers wait for human review. DPPLogic does not read documents or suggest values.
- Products and product facts: record each value with its source wording and unit.
- Readiness workflow: check each product against a requirement pack (batteries, textiles and apparel, or iron and steel) to see what is present, missing or in conflict.
- Requirement gaps, actions and follow-ups with owners, due dates and personal and team work queues.
- Supplier and manufacturer information tracking: supplier records, contacts, request packages and correspondence templates. You send each request yourself and record it as sent.
- Evidence references: a web link or where a document is held, with validity dates and a reviewer. Files stay in your own systems.
- Human review: accept or reject each value and evidence item, with conflict detection and evidence expiry tracking.
- Passport datasets: versioned internal drafts and internal READY packages, sealed so later changes can be detected.
- Exports: JSON and CSV exports of your current records and READY packages.
- Professional and Business: catalogue import from CSV, optional independent review by a second team member, one request covering up to 25 products per supplier, supplier response sheet import, secure supplier response links, bulk assignment and due dates for up to 100 items, and an audit trail export.
- Change management and audit history: manual change checks, version comparison and a revision for every change, showing who made it and when.
How a product moves through the workspace
A typical path from a new product to a reviewed dataset. Your own process and the applicable product rules decide what is actually required.
- 1. Add the product and choose its requirement pack.
- 2. Run the readiness check. Each required field that is not yet supported becomes a tracked gap with an action.
- 3. Ask suppliers or manufacturers for missing information with a request package, and send it yourself.
- 4. Record each value with its source wording and link an evidence reference.
- 5. Review each value and evidence item, and decide each gap.
- 6. Assemble the passport dataset, review it and mark it READY.
- 7. Export the dataset as JSON or CSV and hand it to your passport provider or customer.
What DPPLogic does not do
- It does not certify compliance, give legal advice or decide which rules apply to your products. READY is an internal status, not a compliance finding.
- It does not publish, host or resolve passports, generate QR codes or submit anything to the EU DPP Registry.
- It does not use runtime AI: it does not read documents, suggest values or send customer data to an AI model.
- It does not upload, store or scan documents.
- It does not email suppliers or team members, and suppliers cannot sign in: there is no supplier portal. On Professional and Business, a secure response link lets a supplier answer one request without an account.
- It has no customer API, integrations or single sign-on.
- It does not monitor regulatory changes automatically. Requirement packs are working checklists whose sources have not been reviewed by a lawyer or regulator, and the battery pack is at research stage.
