DPP Readiness Assessment

The DPPLogic Digital Product Passport readiness assessment uses self-reported answers to identify operational preparation gaps. Start with a free ten-question Quick Check for a readiness band, priority gaps and a first action, then continue to the 30-question Full Assessment. Results help prioritise preparation; they do not certify EU compliance, determine whether a passport is required or replace product-specific legal analysis.

What you get from the DPP readiness checker

  1. Set your scopeThe Quick Check asks five context questions about your role, country, EU-market plans, product family and product volume, followed by five questions about current controls.
  2. Review your immediate resultSee a readiness band, score, strongest sampled areas, priority gaps and a first recommended action. Uncertain answers can produce an insufficient-evidence result.
  3. Continue to the Full AssessmentUse the continuation button on your result for 30 questions, six dimensions, detailed gaps, suggested owners and a preparation roadmap. There is no email gate.

Six dimensions in the Full Assessment

The Quick Check samples product identifiers, supplier relationships, traceability decisions, evidence storage and ownership. The Full Assessment examines five questions in each dimension below, including systems and integration.

Product Data
Controlled product identifiers, defined data fields, sources, quality checks and versioned exports.
Supplier Data
Supplier-to-product relationships, information requests, validation, provenance and follow-up.
Traceability
Documented granularity, persistent identifiers, upstream links, trace events and tested retrieval.
Evidence & Documentation
Searchable supporting records, scope links, metadata, version control and review monitoring.
Systems & Integration
Authoritative systems, consistent definitions, controlled data exchange and access-controlled publishing capability.
Governance & Compliance
Sourced applicability decisions, accountable owners, lifecycle procedures, a preparation roadmap and monitoring.

These are questions about your organisation's capabilities. They do not imply that DPPLogic operates your systems, verifies your evidence or publishes passports for you.

How to interpret your result

Scoring follows a fixed, deterministic method on the server. It uses the answers supplied, without independent evidence verification or generative AI. The Full Assessment uses readiness model 1.0.0; the Quick Check uses qc-1.0.0.

A high score is not EU certification, proof of legal compliance or a finding that a passport is required. A low score identifies preparation gaps; it does not establish a legal breach. Product-specific legal analysis remains a separate task.

Use the suggested actions to assign owners, check the supporting evidence and plan the next review. Read how the assessment methodology works.

Questions before you start

Is the Digital Product Passport assessment free?

Yes. The Quick Check and Full Assessment results are available without payment, an account or an email address. The Full Assessment follows the continuation button on your Quick Check result.

Is this a DPP compliance assessment?

It assesses operational readiness. It does not certify compliance, decide which legal obligations apply to a product or provide legal advice. Use the product and role applicability guide alongside a product-specific review.

What if I do not know an answer?

Choose Not sure. Uncertainty is treated as an evidence gap, not as evidence that a control exists. Review the relevant records and accountable owner before repeating the check.

What happens to my answers?

The runtime stores the selected answers and calculated result. Necessary cookies support the form session, private result access and assessment continuation. Your Quick Check result offers download and deletion controls for 15 minutes in the same browser. Cookie expiry does not by itself delete the stored assessment.
